At The Wok Store, we sell woks, pre-seasoned, individually, by hand. Our store is a family run business. Most people who purchase a wok are well aware of the need to season it. A properly seasoned wok takes time and expertise to achieve the perfect cooking properties. Our woks arrive to you without the need to clean off any chemical residue. In fact, we strongly recommend that you never clean the wok with detergent. Only hot water. The beautiful thing about our pre-seasoned woks is that they can be cleaned with a metal scourer, without damage to the surface.

I have just received my round bottom wok bundle and it looks awesome. Just a question about gas cooktops. Should I remove the gas trivet on the cooktop and use your supplied wok ring under the wok or just put the wok on top of the trivet over the flame like I would a normal saucepan?

Does pre-seasoning of the wok involves any Pork or Bacon or Ham products? if yes then can we get the pre-seasoning done without pork products? Vegan pre-seasoned wok won’t be suitable as we will be cooking Chicken / lamb / beef /seafood, etc..

Hello, Does your flat bottomed long handle wok also have another small handle on the opposite side for carrying ease? Or just the long handle only?
