Pre-Seasoned Woks

A properly seasoned wok takes time and expertise to achieve perfect cooking properties. At The WokStore, all our woks seasoned entirely by hand. We take the time to ensure your wok is properly seasoned, giving the wok a naturally low stick cooking surface. We use a combination of oils so you have a low stick wok that is free of chemicals. All our woks are made of raw cast iron.

A decade ago, my culinary journey took a delightful twist when my parents, Dad, a passionate chef and Mum, a cooking enthusiast, gave me a hand-seasoned, cast iron wok. This old fashioned wok worked unlike any other I'd ever used. It exhibited a remarkable ability to smoke up, creating that coveted wok hei. In each of our woks, you'll find the essence of tradition, the soul of craftsmanship, and the promise of a culinary journey filled with unparalleled flavours.
